My Morning Jacket Add The Flaming Lips To Inaugural One Big Holiday In Mexico

My Morning Jacket will launch a brand new music festival in Playa Del Carmen (near Cancun) this January called One Big Holiday. They are billing it as "a 4-night concert adventure...that features 3 totally unique shows with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop." The band will perform for three nights during the event with assists from New Orleans' Preservation Hall Jazz Band, L.A. punk band the Bronx's offshoot Mariachi El Bronx, a DJ set from Thievery Corporation's Rob Garza, and, as of today, the festival will boast "a mind blowing" set from the Flaming Lips.
