As the story goes there was once a band called DeYarmond Edison that was having difficulties and decided to break up. Three of the members formed Megafaun, while their ex-frontman, Justin Vernon, moved to a cabin in the woods to try to work on a different project he called Bon Iver. It has been a long time since that happened, but earlier this week, Vernon joined Megafaun on stage for their entire performance in Durham, NC, to play guitar.
