Ariel Pink’s Recording With Miley Cyrus & The Flaming Lips

Miley Cyrus and the Flaming Lips have had a random-ass collaborative mutual admiration society going for a while now; they've performed and recorded and made this terrible video together. And now they've added another buddy to their freak team, threatening to turn the thing into a musical supervillain society. Ariel Pink has lately been recording with the Lips and Cyrus, as Pitchfork points out; they've been Instagramming photos of themselves in the lab for a little white. We don't yet know anything about what they've making together, but this might be the only time in history that Ariel Pink might make something less attention-grabbingly obnoxious than it would otherwise be.
