G Herbo, the furious young rapper who used to go by Lil Herb, comes from the Chicago drill world, but he's more of an old-style head-slap technician than most of his peers. And on a new Red Bull-curated track, he teams up the NewYork boom-bap revivalist Joey Bada$$ to attack a beat from the great Atlanta producer (and accidental beef-starter) Metro Boomin. These three guys might make for a deeply random combination, but they sound good together; the resulting song, "Lord Knows," is a snarling, pounding young-hyena banger.
