The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Hell Video

NYC Indie poppers the Pains Of Being Pure At Heart unveiled "Hell" slowly, in stages. The band first shared an unpolished demo, then the official audio as one of three tracks on their Hell EP. Today, "Hell" gets the visual treatment to round things off. Pains perform the song in sepia-toned, glitchy, gif-like cuts constricted to a 4x3 frame. "Hell" is a misleading song because its bright aesthetic masks piercing lyrics. The video is similar; it looks like it was a lot of fun to make, and there are plenty of crazy outfits that would probably look great in color, but the sepia tone implies a darkness that fits the track well. Check it out below.
