Shamir – “Tryna Survive”

Shamir, one of the best new voices in music, created the score for a Ray-Ban short film called "Sheep Plays Wolf" about bringing people together through seemingly harmful acts. Shamir also stars in the short, playing the song "Tryna Survive" with a group called "Shamir And The Walrus Whiskers." It's a precious, jangly track that mixes Shamir's signature snappy beats and the folky guitar talent he often brings out in a live setting. Shamir is commercial ready, that's for sure.
