Solange performed in DC last night as part of the Busboys And Poets' Peace Ball, which took place at the National Museum Of African American History & Culture. Angela Davis welcomed Solange to the stage, after sharing some moving and encouraging words. "Certainly in our resistance we need art. We need music. We need poetry," she told the crowd.
