One month ago, Rosalía, a towering figure on the global pop landscape, released her towering orchestral opus LUX. Its one of our favorite albums of the year, and Rosalía has been working hard to promote it. She'll have to work even harder next year, when she heads out on a planet-spanning arena tour behind LUX.
Earlier this week, Rosalía teased a tour in her Spotify Wrapped video. Her LUX tour is by far her biggest undertaking yet, and it'll take her to huge venues across Europe, North America, and South America. I wish she was doing more US dates. Those of us in the southeast, for instance, will have to either journey up to New York or down to Florida to see her. I might have to take that trip. We'll see.
Thus far, we don't know any details about Rosalía's actual live show. No opening acts have been announced, and the press release doesn't say anything about the orchestral backing that she might need to bring her LUX songs to life. But Rosalía has a reputation for visionary live shows, and you have to imagine that she will seek to uphold and elevate that reputation this time around. Check out the dates below.
