Cootie Catcher, one of the Best New Artists Of 2025, are starting 2026 off strong with a new album called Something We All Got that's coming out in February. The Toronto indie pop band announced the record with lead single "Straight Drop," and today they're back with another preview, "Puzzle Pop."
Per Cootie Catcher singer/guitarist Nolan Jakupovski, "Puzzle Pop" is about "how I should ask more from people but I don’t" and "making incorrect assumptions from lack of communication." It has a more traditional folksy feel, with just a touch of the off-kilter electronica production that Cootie Catcher pull off extremely well. It's a good one, and you can see Corrinne James' animated music video below.
