Mclusky have been on a great streak since reuniting in 2020. The Welsh post-hardcore band, who first broke up in 2005, released the world is still here and so are we last year, marking their first studio album in over two decades. Mclusky are still here, and today they've announced a six-song "mini album" called i sure am getting sick of this bowling alley. Its opener "i know computer" is out now.
According to a press release, i sure am getting sick of this bowling alley was initially meant to be more of a stopgap release; a couple of the songs are outtakes from the world is still here. A couple others — including "i know computer" — might make the next Mclusky album, which the band say is already half-recorded. If that album sounds like "i know computer," I'll be happy.
