In December, the young masked UK rap sensation EsDeeKid settled once and for all the mystery of whether he's Timothée Chalamet in disguise by jumping on a track with Chalamet and appearing in the video together. We like his music even without that particular promo gimmick, so we're pleased to announce he's made his way stateside, with new music in tow.
Tuesday, EsDeeKid performed his first ever US show at Avondale Music Hall in Chicago. Judging by fan footage posted online, it was a wild time. Today, the Scouse emcee followed up the big gig with the release of new single "Omens." Over thunderous production from Cppo, Toom, and Wasa, he offers lyrics like "I’m lapping these man, I do mileage/ I’m taking it all, I’m a pirate/ The cribs, the whips, provide it/ Me gas polluting the climate."
