Neil Young and his new band Chrome Hearts played a lot of live shows last year, and they planned to keep it going in 2026, with a tour of the UK and Europe planned for June and July. Now, that tour won't be happening. It's not because of a health crisis or anything. It's just because Neil Young, in his own words, "decided to take a break." Fair enough!
Here's the message that Young posted on his Neil Young Archives website:
I have decided to take a break and will not be touring Europe this time. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. I'm sorry to let you down, but this is not the time. I do love playing LIVE and being with you and the Chrome Hearts.
Neil Young is 80 years old. He can take a break if he wants.
