Sting Announces Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso Album Relaunch In Joke Wellness Industry Infomercial

In December, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso were supposed to share their new album Top Of The Hills. Shortly after its release, the Latin trap duo postponed it, saying they "got swept up in a level of exposure, pressure, and success that we didn't know how to handle, and we made hasty, wrong decisions." Now, the pair is announcing a new record called Free Spirits, though this time the announcement is coming from Sting in a joke wellness industry infomercial.

In the video, Sting poses as the CEO and Founder of the Free Spirits Wellness Center. Here's what he says about it:

Back in the 1980s, music led me on a wild adventure filled with unexpected highs and devastating lows. I quickly realized that I wasn't the only one. Many of my colleagues were experiencing the same suffocating stress, the extreme public pressure, and relentless scrutiny. I knew that I had to develop an original, philosophical, and therapeutic system not only to save myself but also others.

When he met Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, he was "so impressed with their craft and musicianship that I chose to take them under my wing," he says. He explains that he knew their meteoric rise would result in "an acute personal crisis and exhaustion." He continues:

Hours before the release of their new album, they suffered a swift and sudden breakdown. They were lucky enough to cancel everything on time. Their album was literally the worst I've ever heard in my entire life. Their team reached out to me immediately.

During their retreat at the Free Spirits Wellness Center, they recorded a new record and featured Sting on one of the tracks. "This album is not just a release. It is the first global initiation into our method, the first step towards becoming a true free spirit," he says. Applications to the Free Spirits Wellness Center are now open. Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso will be handling the admissions process.

Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso's new album Free Spirits arrives March 19. Last weekend they won their first Grammy, taking home a trophy for Best Latin Rock Or Alternative Album. Watch the video below.
