It's been almost three years since Lana Del Rey's last record, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. That's an appropriate amount of time, but the singer started teasing its followup in 2024, when she announced Lasso, slated for release that year. She released the Quavo collab "Tough," gave several updates, got married to alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, then renamed the LP The Right Person Will Stay and gave it a release date of May 21, 2025. She shared "Henry, Come On," postponed it indefinitely, then shared "Bluebird." In August 2025, she said the album would be called Stove, and she was aiming to release it at the end of January. Now she's back with another update.
In a video posted to her Instagram Story, Del Rey announced that her favorite track "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter" is being released as a single on Feb. 17. "I'm really happy about it," she says. "Finally it's gonna be out. Did the strings, a little bit of production with Drew Erickson, Dean Reid mixed it, Laura Sisk mixed it a little bit as well, and Jack Antonoff and I did it together. Finally found that magical chord that I was missing. Also my brother-in-law Jason Pickens, my sister Chuck Grant, and Jeremy wrote it with me as well." It'll also come with a video they all made together.
As for Stove, she says it's coming soon because "vinyl takes three months so you have three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take, a little bit less than that," she says. Watch below.

Del Rey was not up for any Grammys last weekend, but she attended and was gooped and gagged by Best New Artist nominee Alex Warren’s performance. She and Jelly Roll met the “Ordinary” singer backstage at Stagecoach last year.
