Among the many projects pursued by Darkside guitarist Dave Harrington over the years is Hollywood Visit, an album he recorded with ambient musician Tim Mislock over three days at a studio in Joshua Tree. Four years later, they're following it up. Harrington and Mislock's Isle Of Palms will be out in just two weeks, and for now we get a taste in the form of "Help On The Wave."
According to the credits, on the album Harrington handles electric guitar, slide guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, bass, synth, electronics, percussion, and... side table? Mislock has electronic guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, synth, electronics, and percussion on lockdown. The new-agey folk-rock instrumental "Help On The Wave" blurs their contributions together into a mirage. Check it out below.
