proun Announce Debut Album Maybe Luck: Hear “Miracles”

proun are an Austin trio who put a dreamy, emo-folk spin on classic alternative rock. The band started as the solo project of singer/guitarist Jamie Weed, and after putting out a couple of EPs in the past few years and welcoming bassist Dante Zatto and drummer/engineer Alex Peterson into the fold, their debut album Maybe Luck is coming this June. proun are teasing the record today with its promising lead single "Miracles."

"Miracles," like a lot of the songs on Maybe Luck, reflects on how tumultuous periods of life shape us for better or for worse. The track pairs an emo-tinged melody with a driving guitar jangle that builds into a therapeutic release. Weed explains:

"Miracles" is an homage to people and experiences that may have caused me a great deal of pain in years prior that have since become points of gratitude. Living life and learning things and growing through tough situations that make being a person feel more meaningful. Not being held up by memories but embracing the complex and unique scenarios the world throws at you. I spent a lot of the last few years working on myself and getting help for my PTSD and time and care can really help so much to change perspective.
