Jejune: A great band, and one who — up until recently — you had to scour niche corners of the internet to listen to. The great archival record label Numero Group, however, has been reissuing the San Diego-via-Boston emo band's catalog, culminating into one big box set called Wait A Lifetime that arrives this June. They'll also be playing some of that music on the road this year with their very first US shows since their initial run in the '90s.
Following their run of Japan shows earlier this year, Jejune has three US shows lined up so far. First, they'll headline Santa Ana, California's Your Renaissance Fest. Then they'll play in Boston on July 9; fellow Boston '90s emo band the Shyness Clinic will reunite to support that show, their first proper performance since 2000. Lastly, Jejune will hit New York City on July 10, joined by Pennsylvania post-hardcore greats Ethel Meserve. See the dates below, along with some fan-captured video of Jejune's recent Osaka show.
TOUR DATES:
06/20 - Santa Ana, CA @ The Observatory (Your Renaissance Fest)
07/09 - Boston, MA @ The Sinclair
07/10 - New York, NY @ Mercury Lounge
