Amaia Played A Chair Flute On Tiny Desk

Last year, Turnstile made Tiny Desk history by being the first performer to stagedive. Now, Amaia is making history by being the first to play the chair flute (chlute?). The Spanish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist mostly performed tracks from last year's Si Abro Los Ojos No Es Real at the NPR office.

Amaia sang the first song, "C'est La Vie," on piano while sitting in a folding chair. Once that was over, she picked up the folding chair and used it as a flute for "Nanai." Forgive me, but that's crazy amounts of aura. The rest of the set consisted of "Zorongo," "Auxiliar," "Giratutto," and "Yamaguchi." Watch below.
