Seoul's Balming Tiger have been busy. Our 2021 Band To Watch released the playful Greatest Hits EP a couple years ago, and since then Sogumm collaborated with DJ Seinfeld and Mudd the student unveiled an impressive solo debut. Now the alternative K-pop collective is announcing a new album called Gongbu.
The lead single "Home" is out today, and it has bj wnjn, Sogumm, Mudd the student, Lee Suho, and San Yawn each reinterpreting the concept of home. The press release says the record is "centered around the narrative of 'Gongbu Korea,' a fictional research institute where experimental technologies are used to observe and document human dreams and the unconscious."
