Roberto Carlos Lange is always up to something fascinating. Since releasing his The Last Sound On Earth EP last fall, the man otherwise known as Helado Negro has popped up on very different tracks from Irreversible Entanglements and Vines. Today he's got a cover of Sly And The Family Stone's 1967 psychedelic soul hit "Dance To The Music."
Helado Negro's version of the song is funky and fascinating. It's sort of a humid vaporwave treatment? "I'VE LOVED SLY STONE FROM THE VERY FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS SONG!" Lange writes on Bandcamp. "I HOPE THIS SONG INVITES YOU TO LISTEN TO EVERYTHING HE'S EVER DONE. DANCE 2 THA MUSIC!"
