EsDeeKid Makes Medieval-Themed Rolling Loud Debut With Rico Ace, New Song “Rock Wave”

EsDeeKid stormed the castle at his Rolling Loud debut this weekend at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. The Scouse rapper, who is not Timothée Chalamet despite some strong evidence, gave a striking performance on Friday May 8. He had a castle backdrop, a posse of knights in shining armor, and a flaming sword. He's come a long way in a short period of time: He played his first headline show less than a year ago and played his first US show less than five months ago.

During the set, he played an unreleased song "Rock Wave" and brought out pal and collaborator Rico Ace for a few songs including "Phantom," "LV Sandals," "Cali Man," "Mist," and "Dope Boyz." Fans online have noted that the medieval theme might be a reference to Lil Peep & Lil Tracy's Castles I / Castles II. Last year, Ace and EsDeeKid recreated famous photo of the two SoundCloud rappers. There's also the lyric "Posted in a castle with me fuckin cousin Bloodkiss" from their song "Cali Man."

Check out footage from the set below.
