Gene Announce First North American Tour In 24 Years

Britpop-era London rock band Gene have not played a show in the United States since 2002, but that's about to change. The band got back together last year for their first performances in over two decades, and we've known they'd be making their way across the Atlantic since they were announced for this coming November's Darker Waves festival in Huntington Beach. Now they've revealed they'll be sticking around a while.

On their socials today, Gene cheekily announced, "We will be heading over to the States and Canada this November for the first time since 1776." They've unveiled a run of seven North American shows: Darker Waves plus headline shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Washington, and New York.

A ticket presale begins Wednesday, May 13 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general onsale beginning this Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. local time. Check out their schedule below.
