All Things Go, the extremely fun festival that people love to call "lesbian Coachella," remains a multi-city affair. Maybe we should call it "lesbian Rolling Loud" instead. Earlier this month, ATG organizers unveiled the impressive lineup for the festival's DC flagship show. (It's at Merriweather Post Pavilion, so it's really closer to Baltimore, but sure, fine, "DC.") Today, we learn the lineup for All Things Go NYC, the slightly smaller variation that goes down at Queens' Forest Hills Stadium over the same weekend, Sep. 25-27. At this version of the festival, the entire bill is female.
Maryland headliners Hayley Williams and Mitski won't play All Things Go New York, but Brandi Carlile will. She tops the bill alongside the Friday night double-shot of Zara Larsson and Lola Young and with MUNA on Sunday. (This is a clear sign of Zara Larsson's extended and long-delayed glow-up, since she might not have had headliner status when ATG first booked her. It's also a big return for Lola Young, now back to performing after she collapsed during her set at ATG NYC last year and then canceled her appearance at the Maryland fest.) All Things Go also snuck in a bonus headliner at the bottom of the poster, in the "No Doubt returns to the desert" slot: Carly Rae Jepsen, playing a full set in a "special sunset performance." Jepsen isn't playing Merriweather, so this is a New York exclusive.
The All Things Go NYC poster also has onetime YouTube cautionary tale Rebecca Black and moonlighting supermodel Cara Delevingne right next to each other, which is pretty fun. It also features acts like CMAT, Grace Ives, the Beaches, Hemlocke Springs, Sienna Spiro, Jensen McRae, Blue DeTiger, Chloe Qisha, Natali Jinju, and Cherry Bomb. Also, Scott would like me to note that the staff of Schaefer & LuSaque, the fictional agency from the HBO show Hacks, will be well-represented at All Things Go. Meg Stalter, who plays Kayla and who just announced her debut album, is on the New York bill, while Robby Hoffman, the comedian who plays Randi, is booked for Merriweather. You'll find all the relevant NYC info here.
