Belle And Sebastian are currently on tour celebrating 30 years of Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister. In April, the indie-pop greats debuted a new tune called "It Only Takes One Lion" in London, explaining it was inspired by Scotland's World Cup victory and New Order. Now, a studio recording of the song is finally out.
"It’s a personal song about following the travails of Scotland's national team for the last 50 years and it came out naturally the day after the game against Denmark," Stuart Murdoch explains. "The song tries to encompass the experience of the whole country following Scotland."
The lofty track was produced by and co-written with Pete Ferguson. Watch the music video below.
