Hopscotch Fest Announces 2026 Lineup

Every September, the Hopscotch Music Festival brings an eclectic, idiosyncratic lineup to venues all around Raleigh. It's a great time. The whole Stereogum staff went down to the fest in 2019, and we saw a ton of cool stuff. Last year's fest looked sick, with a bill that include Earl Sweatshirt, Sparks, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Geese, and Unwound. Today, the Hopscotch organizers announced the lineup for this year's fest, which goes down Sep. 10-12, and it's got some surprises.

This time around, Hopscotch headliners include out-of-nowhere rock radio conquerors Dexter & The Moonrocks, along with pan-genre guitar wizard Cory Wong and alt-pop star King Princess. Wouldn't have guessed any of those! The outdoor City Plaza stage will also host Soccer Mommy and Momma, as well as DUCKWRTH, Liz Cooper, Thee Sinseers, WILLIS, the Leo Brooks Band, Butcher Brown, and Annie DiRusso.

But the real reason to go to Hopscotch is to see all the club shows, and they'll be as stacked as ever. This year's Hopscotch undercard includes acts like Algernon Cadwallader, Soul Glo, Thomas Dollbaum, Kylesa, Chuck Strangers, Horsegirl, solo Mdou Moctar, Oddisee, the Messthetics with James Brandon Lewis, Spacemoth, Truth Club, More Eaze, Eugene Chadbourne, and Black Milk.
