The Australian maximalist Ninajirachi one of the most exciting new electronic pop artists going. Her album I Love My Computer cracked our list of last year's best, and we named her one of 2025's best new artists too. So it was a bummer when she soundtracked an ad for Meta's AI creeper glasses, as I'm sure Lorde would agree.
In more exciting Ninajirachi news, she has a new single out today. The throbbing trance track "WannaCry" is collaboration with Porter Robinson, her predecessor in pioneering computer music, who put on the first concert she ever attended. They previewed it during a DJ set with underscores at Coachella, and Robinson dropped it into his set at EDC Las Vegas. Now it's out for real ahead of Ninajirachi's Lollapalooza debut, so you can slot it in next to "Better Off Alone" in your next playlist.
