Last month, we very much liked "Man The Door," the debut single from Curbside Lambsear, the band made up of members of caroline and the Umlauts. Now, the intriguing duo is announcing their debut EP, Put Rings On All My Fingers To Weigh Down My Hands. The new single, "No Ordinary Word," is another entrancing, promising beaut.
"This EP came from experimentation and is composed of all the sounds we felt drawn towards while making music together, all the noise and melodies we came to be in agreement about, all that emerged while testing and probing what felt right," Magdalena McLean and Annabelle Mödlinger explain. "Some of it was found, some of it was built, some of it happened by accident while cycling down a narrow lane. Like the hands in the EP title, extremely adorned, weighing down on the keys of a keyboard, these songs are precious to us and needed to be spurred on by the mutual curiosity of what could be done if we started trying. We had a lot of fun making these songs and we hope you enjoy them."
