In recent years Benson Boone and Sombr have emerged as two of Gen Z's biggest pop stars, but their combined wattage was apparently not enough to save the fest they were supposed to co-headline in Salt Lake City this fall.
The new two-day music festival Yours Always was set to debut Oct. 2 and 3 at Utah State Fairpark, with Boone headlining Friday and Sombr topping the bill Saturday. The event was canceled on Friday, less than five weeks after tickets went on sale. Yours Always deactivated its website and social media accounts without making a statement, and Redditors report that messages to the festival's support email address now bounce back. The only official word regarding the cancellation came via emails informing ticketholders they would be receiving refunds due to "unforeseen circumstances."
Some of the other acts set to perform at Yours Always included Stephen Sanchez, Labrinth, Joshua Bassett, Daniel Seavey, Bella Kay, BØRNS, the Hellp, Voila, and Thomas Day. Not exactly a murderer's row.
