Last year, Jacques Greene teamed up with Nosaj Thing to release an album as Verses GT. Now, the Canadian electronic musician is back to announce his new LP jg, which features crushed, CFCF, Jonah Yano, SEES00000, and more.
"After stripping away a ton of filters and reverbs, a more direct, sometimes intense, collection of work emerged," Greene says. "It's me, it's jg." On Instagram, he adds, "if my other two records were impressionist music ~about~ the club, this one feels more firmly planted inside it, colliding against bodies, taste of fog machine juice on your tongue, strobes hitting your eyelids."
The new single "Presence" is out today, and it follows the previously released "What You Say" featuring umru and "Closer" with DJ Boring. Listen below.
