Last month, the Bangles' Susanna Hoffs announced a new solo album titled The List. So far she's shared "Casablanca" and "This Island," and now she's back with a weepy collaboration with Rufus Wainwright called "Bad Case Of Loneliness."
"My first ever big arena concert was the Bangles back in the '80s and I remember it crystal clear," Wainwright says. "To be able to sing with Susanna now is such a joy, plus the top of a mythic ladder I started building then as a kid. Thrilling."
The lead single had pedal steel, but not as much as "Bad Case Of Loneliness," which has Greg Leisz playing the hell out of that pedal steel. The song was written alongside CJ Camerieri and Ryan Lerman, with Ryan Lerman on guitar, Spencer Zahn on bass, Benny Bock on Udo, and JT Bates on drums. Listen below.
