As the post-metallers note, after five full-lengths, a bunch of EPs, and more than a decade, "ISIS has reached an end." They go on: "This end isn't something that occurred over night and it hasn't been brought about by a single cataclysmic fracture in the band. Simply put, ISIS has done everything we wanted to do, said everything we wanted to say," etc. Before closing shop they're going on a farewell tour, putting out an EP, and "compiling live audio and visual material for future releases." Read the rest of the goodbye at the band's blog.
