When you first compare the original "Comfortable, Comparable" with the Chairlift remix, it seems mislabeled. Hooray For Earth's feels like the rework -- it's got a pounding rhythm and layers of space synths and guitar crunch. The Chairlift remix is the mellower version, with Noel Heroux's vocals re-cut, sped up, slowed down, stretched over a hazy five minutes. It's like they picked up on the gentleness of Heroux's voice and the soft-edged synth symphony, rather than the beat. I'm so used to remixes getting the burst of extra energy, so it's nice to hear opposite.
