Seattle's Cave Singers will release their third album, No Witch early next year. It's their first for Jagjaguwar (Matador released their previous two records), and it was produced by Randall Dunn, who's worked with labelmates Black Mountain, as well as Sunn O)), Wolves In The Throne Room, Six Organs Of Admittance, etc. They promise a more lush album this time around, and "Swim Club" builds on the warm instrumental and vocal harmonies they developed on "Beach House." Singer Pete Quirk's voice is raspy as ever, and it has a brittle, vulnerable quality here too.
