Pavement will appear on the Food Network show Ace Of Cakes on Thursday. Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Maryland bakes them the sugary, horse-shaped cake and present it to the band after one of their reunion shows. According to this clip, the staff make the cake because several employees at the bakery are big fans, and they were hoping for a Central Park show invite. The band, who do not appear in this clip, were apparently reluctant to appear on the show at all, but Bob Nastanovich, the only member who had heard of Ace Of Cakes convinced them. The horse-shaped cake is appropriate because Nastanovich owns several horses. And because horses are delicious. Watch the clip at Spin.com.
