Andy Stack and singing waitress Jenn Wasner were responsible for one of our favorite sets at CMJ last year. The new songs they played got us psyched for the Baltimore duo's sophomore LP. Now six months later we can share the album's title (The Knot) and release date (7/21, Merge) as well as the cover and first single, which await after the jump.
Lush and woozy "Take It In" is a country-tinged rocker emphasizing Jenn's Kim Deal-esque scales over layers of crunchy guitars and pedal steel.
