The day inrainbows.com went live, a message regarding the it's-not-up-to-you option, the super deluxe, bonus-CD containing discbox, read: "SHIPPING WILL BEGIN ON OR BEFORE 3RD DECEMBER 2007." Which essentially meant you were gonna have to wait until 12/3 to start seeing those ultimate-stocking-stuffers start showing up on your doorsteps.
Unless you go by the handle "Spuffmeister."
Mass freakouts abound over at atease.com today, as Spuff the magic message board member let the kids know that, somehow, he/she was delivered the In Rainbows discobox set a week too early. And apparently, he was the only one with such fortune. If you aren't an atease forum member, you can get the quick and dirty here, but you don't need to click a mouse to imagine the plentiful posts begging Spuffy to upload the bonus disc. Rock Daily's reporting that w.a.s.t.e. (Radiohead's little retailing cousin) has contacted Spuff daddy, asking him to resist the temptation to upload the new audio, and ?for the order details so that the dispatch company could be bollocked!?
So, no new Radiohead leakage 'til next week or so (unless Spuffmeister feels like being the source of the most easily traced leak in recent memory). But the lucky postal package recipient did throw the rest of us a bone: pics of the discbox.
