When two spacey, psychedelic home-electronic production duos get together, it stands to reason that the results should be extra-spacey and extremely psychedelic, right? In this case, anyway, that turns out to be true, as the dub-inflected Wisconsin duo Peaking Lights have given a super-woozy and bass-heavy remix to "I Surrender," a track from synth-addled Brooklyn memory-benders Ford & Lopatin. The track appears on Channel Pressure Remixes, a forthcoming digital album that collects reworkings of tracks from Ford & Lopatin's debut album. Alan Braxe's dancey "Too Much Midi (Please Forgive Me)" remix also appears on the album, as do remixes from people like Gavin Russom, JD Twitch, and the Bug. It's out 10/18 on Software/Mexican Summer.
