Girls frontman Christopher Owens is a human great-song factory who churns out swoony heartripping nuggets so quickly that he never gets around to recording many of them. About a year ago, the man turned up at a Ryan McGinley photo show and played a quick acoustic set of new songs. One of them, "Saying I Love You," appeared on Girls' excellent sophomore album Father, Son, Holy Ghost. The rest are new to these ears.
