Last night, New York rap group Das Racist appeared on late-night TV for the first time ever, doing "Michael Jackson" on Conan, and their performance involved the following things: An inexplicable podium, voice-warping effects, presumably-intentionally under-the-breath mumbled rap verses, two cute girls who just sort of flailed at cymbals for no reason, instrument-switching, self-bleeping, a Nirvana T-shirt, and an extended dub breakdown, during which an actual Michael Jackson impersonator moonwalked out onto the stage and kept the act up even after the song was over.
