Get Ready For Vampire Weekend’s “Oxford Comma” Video

Who gives a fuck about it? Maybe not you. But of course you'll wind up in a comment argument about how Vampire Weekend's not worth arguing about. The Ivy League pop kids continue to blow up, just as MTV continues to hold them in their warm and tender zeitgeist grab embrace. The video for "Oxford Comma" will premiere tonight on the new, fueled by Wentz MTV show, FNMTV. VW got director/comedian Richard Ayoade to help pull together the single-shot clip, which we're told "draw(s) inspiration from some of the members' favorite films" and boasts "plenty of Ezra" (hello, ladies). This teaser clip features a glimpse at some scenes from the vid, along with Koenig quotes on the band's future ("we're not gonna be scared to make music that is weird or unusual or not immediately accessible") and too much of Tim Kash's halting accent.

Chris grew a beard! Looking good, buddy. Again, the clip premieres tonight on FNMTV. Which I'm pretty sure means Pete Wentz will introduce it. Which I'm pretty sure means VW's finally made it. Congrats guys.
