Last month, we posted the video for Pacific Northwest songwriter King Dude's dark ode "Jesus In The Courtyard," a spare visual that ably communicates the barren, sometimes forboding tone of Dude's songwriting. On his new LP Burning Daylight, the Dude plays with different takes on this mindset, churning out gritty rock tracks as well as more atmospheric numbers where he pushes his vocals back in the mix.
