But when he's on his own Yazan doles out river-bottom-blues filled with muddy funk that almost borders on grunge. His raucous new single "Tell Me Baby" could've been fished out of the Mississippi delta itself, and Yazan wails on about the dredges of an unraveling romance like he's John Lee Hooker's best disciple.
