Cut Copy was initially formed as Dan Whitford's solo project, so even though he's been joined by Ben Browning and several others, it makes sense that as the group's bassist, Browning might be inclined to strike out on his own. Browning kickstarted his solo career with 2012's Lover Motion Ep. Now, "Make It Easy" leads off his debut album Turns, which will be here this summer. Cut Copy's specific breed of dance rock tends toward spacier, glitchier climes than the warm sunniness of Browning's newest track. Listen below.
