Rick Ross – “Work”

At the beginning of the month, Rick Ross released Black Dollar, a very strong free mixtape that may have stopped his long downward slide. It's the strongest thing he's done in a few years, and it feels like the beginning of a quiet comeback. Further evidence for the comeback argument: "Work," a new non-mixtape track that, as Rap Radar points out, Ross posted online today. On the song, he goes in over a bleepy, jittery beat from frequent Meek Mill collaborator Jahlil Beats, and he gets in a great line about taking off his shirt and showing his abs like he's Tupac.
