As the song says, you gon' jump if A. G. made it. Don't jump in the movie theater, though. Cinema etiquette.
A. G. Cook, the former PC Music mastermind and longtime Charli XCX collaborator, is one of the many famous people in the cast of The Moment, the upcoming mockumentary film about Charli's Brat era. (Charli just shared the second trailer.) Cook also did the score for the film, and he's just given us a taste of his soundtrack.
Cook's new track "Dread - The Moment" it a clubby synth-blare that's been transformed into an ominous drone. It threads in samples of "I Love It," the Icona Pop hit that Charli famously co-write and still performs live. I'd say that "Dread" almost feels like the obligatory dramatic movie-trailer remix of "I Love It," except it's cooler than that. Check it out below.
The soundtrack to The Moment is out 1/30 the same day that the film hits theaters. Charli XCX will release soundtrack album of her own, for Wuthering Heights, 2/13.
