Ever since embarking on an extensive, triumphant reunion tour from 2022 to 2024, slacker indie legends Pavement have scaled back band activities significantly without actually breaking up. Last May the band played Colbert to promote the movie Pavements, and they did three shows last fall in Texas and Mexico, but that was the full extent of their live operation in 2025. This year, they're keeping it chill but ramping things back up slightly.
Last week we learned Pavement would headline a stacked pre-party for Oakland's Mosswood Meltdown with support from Wednesday and Vivian Girls. Now comes news that they'll play a few more shpws across the US this summer. They'll be in Portland the night after that Mosswood gig, then work their way eastward to Saint Paul, Chicago, Cleveland, Richmond, and Nashville. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Check out the itinerary below.
