Assumption, the new album from Massachusetts post-punks Landowner, is mere weeks from release. The lead single "Rival Males" was great, and so is "Normal Returns To Normal," a nervy six-minute story song that reminds me of early Parquet Courts. Dan Shaw's ranting, raving vocals are a fine fit for all spindly Television guitars and relentlessly sproingy rhythm section. Dive in:
