The Indio, California country music festival Stagecoach was initially founded in 2007 as a sister festival to Coachella, and in recent years, it too has become a pressure cooker of celebrity sightings and brand sponsorships. Case in point: Sydney Sweeney's lingerie brand, which is called SYRN but pronounced like "siren" for some reason, had a karaoke bar at Stagecoach, where the Euphoria actor spent her weekend singing with the likes of Diplo, Lance Bass, Ashton Kutcher, and her boyfriend Scooter Braun. There were some country artists there too, though, like Chase Rice, Riley Green, Dan + Shay, and Bailey Zimmerman.
Sweeney, who's infamous for her probably-racist American Eagle commercial, and Braun, who's infamous for general music industry sleaziness, were also spotted together at Ella Langley's Friday set.

During her set, Langley sang her new Morgan Wallen collab "I Can't Love You Anymore" solo for the first time (they performed it together the previous weekend) and brought out podcaster Theo Von for her 2024 song “you look like you love me.” (Von, along with fellow podcaster Caleb Pressley, also joined Diplo’s late-night "Honky Tonk" set at Stagecoach.) Langley currently has America's #1 album for a second week with Dandelion. We’ll find out today if, after seven weeks, her hit “Choosin’ Texas” will be unseated atop the Hot 100 by Stereogum’s #1 song of last week, Olivia Rodrigo’s "drop dead." The recent Jeopardy! contestants weren't familiar with "Choosin' Texas," though.

Meanwhile, Diplo’s Honky Tonk included a crossover with Emo Nite, which saw surprise performances from 3OH!3 and recent Masked Singer Season 14 winner Ashlee Simpson Ross. (Simpson Ross was at Coachella earlier this month, doing Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s side event Camp Pooch.) Stella Lefty also appeared for her viral hit "Boston."
