TURNSPIT are a Leeds duo who make synthy avant-pop music, and we posted their single "Have A Heart" earlier this year. In the months ahead, TURNSPIT will play festivals like Green Man and Left Of The Dial, and they'll open shows for kindred spirits Adult DVD and Bathing Suits. Today, they drop another new single on us.
Much like "Have A Heart," "Do I Know You?" is a muted electronic skitter with whispery vocals shot through with mysterious yearning. Jess Clark, the duo's vocal half, sings about the familiar struggle of meeting someone and trying to figure out whether you already know them: "As if you were somebody who wasn’t anybody else."
