Wilco (The Record Label)

Wilco ran their own festival last year, have their own coffee blend, and gave their blessing to sandwiches named after them. Their own record label seems like the next logical step, or rather, a step you expected from them a few albums back. Unfortunately the label's called dBpm Records and not Wilco (The Label), but according to the label's new manager Tony Margherita (also the band's longtime manager), dBpm will release all future Wilco recordings "and more," hinting that dBpm may release stuff from other artists as well. ANTI- Records will provide distribution and label services support. According to the announcement on the ANTI- blog, the band is currently recording their followup to Wilco (The Album), and will bring their Solid Sound Festival back to Massachusetts June 24 – 26.
